Sammy is potty-trained! We got serious after the new year began and it only took about two weeks for him to really get it! He is doing so well. I can count on one hand the number of accidents he has had. I am so proud of him and so relieved that it wasn't the nightmare that I had tried to gear myself up for. He always has been a quick learner and this case is no different.
The pics show a little bit of what he's been up to. The first one he asked me to take. He had fun making valentine's for friends and family! He now has a great capability for making colossal messes. Fortunately, he is getting good at cleaning up too (which encouragement, guidance, and assistance)! He's learning how to pump on his own on the big boy swings. We've been blessed to have quite a few mild days this past month, so we take walks whenever we can. I have a double stroller, but can't bear to strap him in when I know it's good for him to burn off energy. And boy does he. He runs almost the entire time...and we have hills in our neighborhood! I walk at a brisk pace pushing Jonny and can barely keep up!
My sweet Sammy boy is nearly 3 and he looks it now. He looks taller...next week we'll find out at his check-up just how tall he is!

Hi Amy! I can't believe he is potty trained!!! Wow! I love all of your pictures of the boys. They are just precious! You mom told me about the b-day cake for Sammy and I can't wait to see a picture. ( I want to make one for Brody's 2nd b-day in April.) Great blog!!
