Junk

This was too funny to me -- had to share. Little S has "elephant ears" like his Mommy did (and still does), meaning he is ALWAYS listening even when we aren't aware that he is (in fact I think his cousin A is like this too). Well, yesterday, I had spoken to his daddy a request that he not bring anymore "junk" home from garage sales. You see, Daddy has a habit of buying things we don't need just because he perceives them to be a "good deal". Well, he did manage to find a few good toys for S & J, but along with it, a bunch of other "junk" too! It drives me up the wall -- does he not SEE all the teaching junk I need to get rid of?! AGH! Anyway, here's the funny part. About 20 minutes later, S was eating and asked me where Dadda went. I said that he went to a meeting. S replied "he's getting more junk". Laughter ensued. :-)
