Growth

Mr. S had a ball going to his 3 year well child check up on Monday. He did such a great job with the weighing and measuring and blood pressure taking. And then he was told to take his clothes off down to the undies and wait with Jonny & I in the room. He was thrilled to be in his undies (I still don't understand this universal phenomenon about children)! He was up on the examining table, then on the chair, then the floor and so on and so forth while we talked and waited. He cracked me up when he even layed down on the vinyl exam table. So glad he is not afraid to be there! He did just fine when Dr. S checked all his vitals and gave him a "clean bill of health" for another year. By the way, he has grown over 4 inches in the last year. He is now 38 " tall -- which puts him in the 75% (meaning only 25% of boys his age are taller) and weighs 31 3/4 lbs., remaining in the 50% (completely average). He has pretty much lost all babyness now...the last of it left with the diapers. The only time I see a tiny glimpse is when his belly is full and protrudes a bit. :-) I can't believe he is more than halfway to Kindergarten now (thanks Lori for that realization!)!
