Hives

Look closely at Jonny's face and you'll see nice red hives all over. I'm fairly certain that they are from the small bit of mayonnaise that was on my Red Robin Cheeseburger, which he was eager to share with me and voraciously devoured each little nibble he was given. I had a feeling of hesitation once I noticed the mayo, but he has such an appetite and I didn't have any thing else to give him (he'd already eaten his yogurt, blueberries, cherrios, as well as some fries and bread). So the moral of the story for me is that, as usual, I need to exercise caution with each new exposure he has to allergens (in this case, the egg in the mayonnaise). He definitely has skin sensitivities, but has thus far been fine with wheat and the dairy he has had. We hope and pray to avoid food allergies if we can, though we know from seeing firsthand in our family and others that there IS life even with them.
